Last week, in partnership with Kirkwood Corporate Training I hosted a webinar (over 100 people signed up!) about culture and creating Good Ripple Effect.
We talked about three of my favorites: empathy, empowerment, and experience!
Key takeaways included:
1) Head, heart, and have beens - learn about your team member's attitudes, dreams, and previous experiences....they will feel seen and heard.
2) Empowerment - show team members the Circle of Control (do a quick google and it will pop right up) and encourage them to show up in the world the way they want and tell them they can shine (sounds corny, but I promise it works).
3) Experiences - people want a job that makes them feel seen and heard, but they also don't want to feel like they are in a rut. Give them bite sized engagement experiences that make them feel alive.
