A friend recently shared a free online course she is taking, A Year of Living Brilliantly with Michael Bungay. The premise is that you get 52 emails that have a video mini-lesson (5-10 minutes) from a new teacher every week, so that together we can build lives we love. I signed up!
This week's video was from Eddy Robinson an indigenous person (Anishinaabe) who talks about the concept of boozhoo, I am going to learn from you, and you are going to learn from me.
The prompt from the mini-lesson was, how different would the world be if we approached everyone with “boozhoo,” or “I am going to learn from you, and you are going to learn from me”?
I just imagine the amazing Ripple Effect that would occur from all this knowledge transfer! #BigBeautifulWaves
I plan to be a bit more curious today and learn from others. If you sign up for the course, message me so that we can be accountability buddies (course link above).
