It sort of hit me the other day… there are seasons to a job, much like the seasons in the weather (especially living in the Midwest!)
Because by the end of this month, I’ll have a little bit of wiggle room - and I’m really looking forward to some creative time!
Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the jam packed seasons too, as March-May tend to get filled up with speaking gigs. But by June and July - the conferences slow down and many people advantage of their well-deserved summer PTO.
June 1st marks the official start of my creative season. Recognizing these cycles allows me to embrace the crazy-busy stretches and savor the slower periods.
We all need that balance!
So, if you could describe your seasons of work, how would you describe it?
