It’s true what they say, "Grandparents are like magicians. They can create wonderful memories for their grandchildren out of thin air."
And those memories we keep…
My Grandpa Bill was one heck of a guy!
For as long as I can remember, he was helping and fixing and chatting his way through the community.
His energy and enthusiasm for the world (and coffee) seemed endless.
Who would have guessed that as I entered my first adult job (and countless times throughout my career), when people made mention that I have a LOT of energy, that I would think of Grandpa Bill and remind myself…Lisa, energy is a good thing, it's how you will help the world!
Though it’s hard to see him go (he passed away earlier this week), I am grateful for the zest for life that he passed down to me and many other family members.
